Apc^Min/+ mice were divided into three groups: (i) control; (ii) HFD and (iii) HFD + fidarestat (50 mg/kg body wt, in drinking water) as described in the Methods. Mice were euthanized after 12 weeks and small intestines were stained and examined for polyp formation. A) Number of intestinal polyps and B) size of the intestinal polyps were determined by staining the intestines with methylene blue.
