Effect of variously sized SPs on IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, and IL-17 production. Mice were i.p. injected with 100 µg of OVA with or without 30, 100, or 1000 nm of SPs (Day 0). PBS alone was used as a control. On Day 21, spleens were removed and splenocytes were incubated with 20, 100, or 500 µg/mL of OVA followed by measurement of IFN-γ (a), IL-2 (b), IL-4 (c), IL-5 (d), and IL-17 (e) in the culture supernatant.
