Figure 2. — The detection of compound W in the AlphaLISA: the amplified signal is generated when the T₂S-conjugated donor beads are brought near the streptavidin-coated acceptor beads through the immune interaction between the biotinylated goat anti-rabbit and rabbit anti-T₂S antibodies. Singlet state oxygen molecules produced by the excited donor beads activate the acceptor beads in proximity to emit luminescence (Anti-W PcAb or Anti-W^Cpd PcAb, Anti-W Compound [anti-T₂S] polyclonal antibody; Bio Rabbit IgG, Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG).
