Gastrodin (GSTD) improved mitochondrial function by increasing mitochondrial outer membrane potential in dexamethasone (DEX)-treated MC3T3-E1 cells, as observed following JC-1 double-fluorescent dye staining. (A) The cells were pretreated with GSTD (1 and 5 µM) for 1 h prior to incubation with DEX (200 µM) for 48 h. On flow cytometric analysis, the upper right quadrant represents double-fluorescent dyed cells and the lower right quadrant represents single-fluorescent dyed cells.
