METSIM+T2D-GENES Studies: Venn Diagram of the number of SNPs (and not independent loci) found significant by each of metaUSAT, metaMANOVA and single-trait analyses. A total of 31, 897 SNPs (MAF ≥ 1%) are tested. For the single-trait analysis, a variant is declared as significant if its p-value for at least one trait is < 1.25×10−8 (4-trait Bonferroni corrected GWAS threshold). It should be noted that most of these significant SNPs are in LD.
