The new preferred pathway (marked by solid green triangles) is different from the one previously observed with a non-saturating Ca²⁺ influx in Figs 4 and 5 (marked by hollow green triangles). Also note a second preferred pathway that travels through N2C1 (marked by yellow triangles).
