(A) The cells were incubated with broad-spectrum caspase inhibitor z-VAD-fmk at 10 μM concentration or (B) Pifithrin-α as a p53 inhibitor at 30 μM concentration 1 h prior to Scutellarein treatment. After the incubation with 100 μM Scutellarein for 24 h, whole cell lysates were subjected to immunoblotting.
