(A) Hearts were isolated from E21 fetuses from pregnant rats treated with normoxia or hypoxia (10.5% O2) from day 15 to day 21 of gestation, and miR133a expression was measured by miScript miR real-time RT-qPCR. (B) Cardiomyocytes were isolated from fetal hearts and cultured myocytes were treated with normoxia or hypoxia (1% O2) for 24 hours. MiR133a expression was measured by miScript miR real-time RT-qPCR.
