Experimental protocol. Electric CN injury was induced. At 3 hours after CN injury, rats were randomized into 2 groups (vehicle or bone marrow–derived MSC) and intravenously infused with MSCs or vehicle, respectively. Detection of green fluorescent protein–expressing bone marrow–derived MSCs was performed at day 1 and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction was performed at day 2.
