FIG. 18. — Similar to the transmission spectra of Fig. 17, but for the O₂-CO₂ atmospheres with surface pressures of 10 bar (purple) and 90 bar (orange). The two spectra are almost identical except that the pressure at which the atmosphere becomes optically thick, while the same for both planets, occurs at a higher altitude in the 90 bar case.
