Note that anti-huntingtin labeling in striatofugal terminals in GPe, GPi and SN in Emx-httKO mice is indistinguishable from that in control mice, suggesting that striatal projection neuron huntingtin production and axonal transport was unaffected by the cortical huntingtin deletion.
