Figure 1

Magnetization transfer contrast (MTC) weighted anatomical images in three different views. A gradient echo acquisition that incorporated a Gaussian radio frequency saturation pulse was used to obtain (A) axial, (B) coronal and (C) sagittal views of the rat cervical spinal cord with in-plane resolution of 0.25 × 0.25 mm2 and slice thicknesses of 3 mm, 0.5 mm and 0.75 mm, respectively. Red borders and numbers on the images represent axial slice selections for BOLD images. D: dorsal; M: medial; R: rostral.
