Confirmation of SEB-GUS expression by Western blot analysis. Ground radish leaves (20 μg) infiltrated with A. tumefaciens (5 × 107 CFU) carrying a 35S::GUS construct (SEB-GUS) or nontransformed A. tumefaciens (control, 5 × 107 CFU) were run on a 10% (w/v) SDS-PAGE and blotted onto a nitrocellulose membrane. The membranes were then probed with mouse monoclonal anti-SEB antibodies. An arrow indicates the molecular weight (96 kDa) of SEB-GUS.
