PSAPP double transgenic mice were given one single injection of 1 × 10⁶ HUCBCs via the tail vein. After tissue collection, DNA isolation, and PCR replication of human G3PDH DNA was detectable in virtually all organs tested, except blood, 24 h after HUCBC administration. By 30 days, bone marrow, brain, kidney, liver, heart, and lungs were found to contain human DNA, while blood, spinal cord, spleen, and gonad were negative (n = 6 per group).
