Responses to relevant stimuli under acute alcohol conditions. Young adults under moderate alcohol conditions decelerated less to relevant stimuli than placebo in both the country (a) and the metropolis (c). Placebo dosed older adults had a wider range of steering than both young placebo adults and moderate dosed older adults (b). Under low dose alcohol conditions in the country, older adults decelerated more (a) and applied the brake later (d) than placebo counterparts.
