CD71⁺ TER119⁺ erythroblasts were isolated and stained with Retic Count. FSC^high and Retic Count^high cells represent uncondensed cells prior to enucleation, and FSC^low Retic Count^low cells represent condensed and enucleated cells. Note the similar proportions of the two populations in wild type and homozygous mutant mice (n = 7).
