Values expressed as unstandardized coefficient β and 95% confidence interval (CI). Covariates in the multivariate model included age, sex, duration of dialysis, a history of smoking, hypertension, coronary artery disease and cerebrovascular disease, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, albumin, fasting glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, hemoglobin, creatinine, potassium, total calcium, phosphorous, calcium-phosphorous product, iPTH, uric acid, Kt/V, ultrafiltration rate, and medications use including ACEI and/or ARB, Beta-blocker and calcium channel blocker.
