All relative measures are comparing those receiving the intervention to those not receiving the intervention.

aRelative reductions of symptomatic fraction and exposure with respect to no intervention are multiplied by the corresponding model parameter (σ and β, respectively). One minus the relative reduction can be interpreted as the efficacy of the intervention.
