PS 8670 was denatured using (a) 0.10 mol/L Tris; (b) 2.0 mol/L urea; or (c) 6.0 mol/L guanidine HCl. Following incubation in 20 mmol/L DTT at 37 °C for 1 h, 5 μg of sample were analyzed by UV-LC-MS. The species comprising each UV peak were identified by deconvolution of their corresponding MS spectra.
