The effect of three bismuth drugs on H. pylori eradication. (a) Colony-forming assay shows that H. pylori colonization levels were decreased in the three bismuth drug groups, especially in the Wei Bi Mei granules and CBS groups. ∗P < 0.05 versus HP control, #P < 0.01 versus HP + bismuth aluminate. (b) and (c) H. pylori-specific DNA gene expression was significantly lower in the Wei Bi Mei granules group compared to the CBS and bismuth aluminate groups.
