Next generation sequencing reveals a set of miRNAs differentially regulated by single-trial classical conditioning. Two main classes of sncRNAs are present: 20–23 nt (mature miRNAs) and 26–28 nt (Piwi-interacting RNAs). Please note that there is also a minor 41-nt class of sncRNAs.
