Proposed transcription mechanism of transcriptional regulator YthA on L. lactis F44. According to transcriptome analysis, YthA was presumed to regulate the amino acid transport and biosynthesis, ADI pathway, pyrimidine metabolism, exopolysaccharide synthesis, two-component systems, nisin immunity, and chaperones. Red spots represent more abundant genes >3.0-fold. Pink spots represent upregulated genes (between 1.5- and 3.0-fold). Green spots represent downregulated genes (>3.0-fold). Light green spots represent downregulated genes (between 1.5- and 3.0-fold).
