Chronic NT treatment does not affect the immune responses of IL-1R-KO mice. WT and IL-1R-KO mice (n=6/group) were implanted with NT (2 mg/kg/day)- or PBS-containing Alzet miniosmotic pumps for 3 wk. Four days prior to sacrifice, animals were immunized with SRBC, and the spleen cells were analyzed: (A): AFC/106 spleen cells; (B): Con A-induced proliferation as described in Materials and Methods.
