This figure depicts two cardinal features of the inferior sinus venosus defect by echocardiogram: 1) absent posterior rim and 2) straddling of the IVC over the defect. B: By color Doppler interrogation, the straddling of the IVC is confirmed. The flow returning from the IVC splits into two components, one entering the LA and the other entering the RA.
