  • Demographics and socioeconomic Information: sex, age, nationality, date of birth, education, marital status, household income

  • Lifestyle: tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking, tea drinking, physical exercise

  • Occupational exposures: type of work, job shop, the environment, deleterious substance contact history, duration of employment, measurement of urinary metal concentrations

  • Dietary:a vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, egg and bean consumption

  • Self-reported medical history: cancer, respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, digestive system diseases, urogenital diseases, diabetes, skin allergic disease and occupational diseases

  • Family history of diseases: heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure or diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer

  • Reproductive history: age at menarche, age at menopause, parity, breastfeeding, contraception, hormone replacement therapy

  • Stress and psychological status:a psychological morbidity, stress, optimism, social isolation

Physical examination Anthropometric measures: weight, height, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, hearing, vision, imaging (electrocardiograms, ultrasonic B, X-ray examination)
Clinical lab-based tests
  • Haematological traits: white blood cells (WBC), red blood cells (RBC), platelet count (PLT), haemoglobin etc.

  • Hepatic function: alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), gamma glutamyltransferase (GGT) etc.

  • Lipids: total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high- and low-density cholesterol lipoprotein (HDL-C, LDL-C), fasting plasma glucose (FPG)

  • Renal function: blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, total bile acid (TAB)

  • Electrolytes: K, Na, Cl, Ca, P, Mg
