Novel functional connectivity between medial PFC and STN in humans. (A) We also studied connectivity between medial PFC (mPFC) and STN using electrical stimulation-functional MRI (es-fMRI), which reveals functional connectivity from a stimulated site in mid-cingulate cortex.
