In the adjusted model, covariates included age (yrs; continuous), sex (male/female), race-ethnicity (Mexican American, other Hispanic, non-Hispanic white, non-Hispanic black, and other), measured body mass index (kg/m2; continuous), self-reported smoking status (never, former, current), self-reported average hours of sleep each night (hrs/night; continuous), self-reported engagement in leisure-time moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (min/week) assessed from the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire, and PHQ-9 assessed depression symptomology (range = 0–27; continuous).
