None of bacteria tested showed utilization of the following carbohydrates provided in the kit: d-Adonitol, l-sorbose, dulcitol, inositol, methyl-α-d-mannopyranoside, methyl-α-d-glucopyranoside, amygdalin, arbutin, esculin ferric citrate, d-lactose, inulin, d-melezitose, d-raffinose, xylitol, gentiobiose, d-lyxose, d-tagatose, d-fucose, l-fucose, d-arabitol, l-arabitol, d-gluconate, 2-keto-d-gluconate, and 5-keto-d-gluconate.
