(A) Bladder transitional cancer cell lines UM-UC-3 and J82 (3×10⁵ cells/ml) were able to form vascular channels on 3D Matrigel within 4 h following seeding; however, the immortalized human bladder epithelium cell line SV-HUC-1 (3×10⁵ cells/ml) failed to form a similar structure even when cultured for up to 24 h (magnification, ×100; scale bar, 100 µm).
