Effect of HIF-2α on GP73 expression. (A) HepG2 cells were transfected with either empty vector control (pcDNA3.1) or a HIF-2α-overexpressing plasmid. HIF-2α overexpression was confirmed by RT-qPCR, and GP73 levels were examined by RT-qPCR and western blotting. (B) HepG2 cells were transfected with either a negative control or HIF-2α-targeting siRNA, and HIF-2α silencing was confirmed by RT-qPCR. GP73 levels were examined by RT-qPCR and western blotting. β-actin was used as internal control. Results are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments. **P<0.01.
