Patients with a visceral adipose tissue/subcutaneous adipose tissue (VAT/SAT) ratio lower than the median value (n = 36) had higher low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels (median and interquartile range, mg/dL) compared to patients with a VAT/SAT ratio greater than the median value (n = 37) (p = 0.024)
