Effect of miR-148b expression on radiosensitivity in A549 cells. A549 cells were transfected with miR-148b mimic or miR-148b inhibitor and then subjected to 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 Gy of 60 Co-γ ionizing radiation. (A and B) A total of 1×10³ cells/well were seeded in 6-well plates and cultured for 10–14 weeks, and cells were stained with crystal violet (0.5 in 20% ethanol). Subsequently, cells were harvested and absorbance was determined using a multifunctional microplate reader at 546 nm. Relative cell survival number was then determined.
