HIPP phylogeny. A, Diagrammatic representation of the phylogenetic relationship between A44 and five HIPP families (de Abreu-Neto et al., 2013). A44 is related to Arabidopsis HIPP subfamily II and most closely related to HIPP26 (for full phylogeny, see Supplemental Fig. S1). B, Multiple alignments of HIPP26 proteins from Arabidopsis (Arath), N. benthamiana (Benth), tomato, and potato with A44. The alignments were made using MUSCLE with default parameters (Edgar, 2004).
