FCPR16 attenuated MPP⁺-induced cell apoptosis in SH-SY5Y cells. Cells were pretreated with FCPR16 (25 μM) for 1 h, and then were exposed to 500 μM MPP⁺ for 24 h, the apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells was determined by flow cytometry (A and B). (C) SH-SY5Y cells were pretreated with 25 μM FCPR16, and then were incubated with 500 μM MPP⁺ for 48 h. Expression of cleaved caspase 3, Bax and Bcl-2 was analyzed by Western blot. The relative levels of Bcl-2/Bax (D) and cleaved caspase 3/GAPDH (E) were determined by densitometry of the blots.
