B-Better	How can you help the patient feel better? Manage symptoms during acute resuscitation while determining the appropriate degree of resuscitative measures for the situation.
C-Caregivers	Is there anyone present at the bedside, in the waiting area, or who can be reached by phone? Consider their needs and desires.
D-Decision making capacity	Can the patient make their own decision regarding their care?
