Oscillating modes. In equilibrium, the MCD relaxes exponentially, as expected for any complex fluid. For finite driving, MCDs show pronounced oscillations, which, especially for small Wi, drastically increase the system’s correlation time (e.g., more than 150 s for Wi = 0.04).
