DENV-1 WP 74 infection alters blood chemistry profiles. Six-week-old AG129 mice were inoculated with 7.4 log10 p.f.u. DENV-1 WP 74 and blood was collected on days 1, 2 and 3 p.i. Samples were analysed using the Vetscan comprehensive diagnostic profile and the results were compared to those from media-inoculated control animals bled over the same period.
