Cell fluorescence imaging and CCK-8 assay of the novel fluorescent molecule probe. (A) Labeled hUC-MSC suspension exhibited moderate fluorescence on small animal fluorescent imager, whereas none was detected in the unmarked hUC-MSC suspension. The hUC-MSCs were efficiently labeled by Cy7-GD. (B) CCK-8 assay to evaluate the cytotoxicity of the Cy7-GD2 complexes. No statistically significant difference was found between the two groups (P>0.05). The results are presented as the mean ± standard deviation (n=5 per group). hUC-MSCs, human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells; CCK-8, Cell Counting Kit-8; GD2, ganglioside; Cy7, CyDye mono-reactive NHS esters.
