Only the high mucin concentration was evaluated for protection of digested LBFs since the low concentration (100 μL of 50 mg/mL) has shown incomplete protection in previous experiments with single components of LBFs. Red, yellow and green regions represent conditions that were not, intermediately and well tolerated. The control was digestion medium.
