Determination of the optimal number of candidate reference genes by geNorm analysis. Pairwise variation (V_n/n + 1) between the normalization factors NF_n and NF_n+1 was used to determine the optimal number of multiple reference genes. When the value of V_n/n + 1 is ≤0.15, the addition of one or more reference genes into the reference gene combination would not be necessary.
