Advantages	•Add the important “sling effect” to Bankart repair •Easier, safer, and less invasive than arthroscopic Latarjet •Reduce the risks of neurologic damage due to screws or traction on the graft •Avoid nerve dissection, and graft overhanging, resorption, and nonunion •Decrease theoretically the risk of dislocation arthroplasty and scapular dyskinesis
Disadvantages	•Potential weaker “sling effect” due to the LHB tendon diameter, which is smaller than that of the conjoint tendon •Risk of biceps pain and change in arm shape •Does not involve bony reconstruction •Precise indications remain to be determined •No long-term follow-up
