Diagram of the data analysis pipeline. The method we propose is a Computational Heuristics for Understanding Kymographs and aNalysis of Oscillations Relying on Regression and Improved Statistics (CHUKNORRIS), comprising five modules. Inputs to the modules are shown in red arrows while outputs are shown in blue (boxes and arrows). The pipeline was designed to analyse multiple data types, including generic time series, individually or in pairs, single channel, and ratiometric kymographs.
