Effects of I3C, DIM and b-NF on LPS-inducible cytokines IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α mRNA levels in u-THP-1 cells. U-THP-1 cells were treated with or without I3C (25 µM), DIM (10 µM) or b-NF (10 µM) as described in Materials and Methods. After treatment with the compounds, cells were exposed to LPS for an additional 2 h. After LPS treatment, total RNA was isolated and IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α mRNA expression were determined using RT-PCR.
