mPGES-1 expression. selenium supplementation modulates the mPGES-1 levels when inflamed with 1 µg/mL LPS upto 12 h. Seleniferous wheat extract in presence of rMETase incubation (SeW+rMET) shows maximum down-regulation in comparison to sodium selenite and seleniferous wheat extract incubation. A noticeable observation of non-seleniferous wheat extract treated with rMETase (NSeW+rMET) showed significant decrease in mPGES-1 protein and mRNA levels (C). Results shown are representative of three independent experiments.
