Early phenotypes in partially synchronized cells (20 mM HU, 3 h) reveal disrupted coordination of mitosis and cytokinesis. After partial synchronization, HU was removed and cells were shifted to 18°C for 4–6 h. Cells were then fixed and stained for microtubules and DNA as previously described.
