In the first panel, the DNA has a 60° bend in the first 42 bp, followed by a straight segment of length 0, 21, 42, or 63 bp, followed by a 30° bend in the next 21 bp, and the rest of the DNA is straight. The setup for the second panel is the same, except that the first bend is 80° and the second bend is 40°.
