(C) MDA-MB231 spheroids were placed on LEC monolayers and treated with solvent (DMSO, Co), or with 10, 20, and 40 μM apigenin (A) or luteolin (L), or combinations of 10 and 20 μM A and L (solvent was kept constant) for 4 h, after which CCID areas were measured using an Axiovert microscope and Zen little 2012 software. Three independent experiments with at least five replicates were analyzed. Error bars indicate means ± SEM and asterisks and hash significances (p < 0.05; t-test).
