Chromatograms of VOCs produced by the 24-h fermentation liquid (24hFL) extracted by 7-μm PDMS (A), 85-μm PA (B), and 100-μm PDMS (C). The main VOCs were noted as (1) (S)-1-octanol, (2) benzaldehyde, (3) 3-methylbutanal, (4) benzoic acid, (5) methoxy-phenyl-oxime, (6) anisole, (7) benzothiazole, and (8) 2,4-di-tert-butylthiophenol. The remaining peaks represent other minor VOCs or the fibers and atmosphere.
