(A) ¹³C-HMQC spectra and CSP analysis of ILV-labeled Asf1 in the presence of the H3:H4 dimer (blue), H3:H4−Vps75₂ (red) or the H3(Δ28):H4 dimer (orange). CSPs are calculated between Asf1−H3:H4 and Asf1−H3:H4−Vps75₂ (blue), and between Asf1−H3(Δ28):H4 and Asf1−H3:H4−Vps75₂ (green). The spectra were acquired in 50 mM sodium citrate pH 6.5, 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM BME at 850 MHz and 298 K. (B) ¹⁵N-HSQC spectra and CSP analysis of ¹⁵N-labeled histone H3 in the H3:H4 complex (blue) and in the Asf1−H3:H4 complex with (green) or without (orange) Rtt109.
