MiRNA expression in DRG neurons during axon regeneration was examined. All the miRNAs tested are reported as dots in the volcano plot, plotted as the –Log10 of the p-value for differential expression (applying a t-test), as a function of the Log2 of the fold change. The red dotted line represents a p-value of 0.05. All red dots are miRNAs that are considered differentially expressed (p-value < 0.05, Log2 (Fold Change) <−1 or >1). Green dots are miRNAs considered non-differentially expressed (p-value > 0.05, Log2 (Fold Change) >−1 and <1). A total of 49 miRNAs were determined to be differentially expressed: 44 upregulated and 5 downregulated.
